Main Bazar Road, Paharganj
Main Bazar Road in Paharganj is one of those places. Hotels, cafés, small shops, rickshaws and overhead wires come together to create a street that has welcomed travellers for decades. There is always movement, yet it never feels hurried.
I was drawn to the soft light, the reflections on the road and the layered character of the buildings. Rather than painting a landmark, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of a place that countless journeys pass through.
Sometimes, the streets between destinations become the memories we carry home.
